About Us

Chicago Metal Fabricator’s (CMF) is one of the premier sources for fabrication in the Midwest and United States. Founded in 1908 on the city’s southwest side, CMF is a fully integrated fabricator with over 200,000 sq.ft. of production area. With nearly a century of work to our credit, CMF has fabrications in work around the globe. Starting as a metal cabinet and ductwork fabricator in the early 20th century, CMF now specializes in heavy components and assemblies from 16 gage up to 3” plate. Chicago Metal Fabricators has three sister companies involved in lighter gage metal fabrication, which allows us to offer a broad range fabrication capabilities.
