Custom Metal Fabrication Services
Welding and Assembly:
CMF provides a multitude of welding capabilities and processes for your fabrications, large and small. With over 100,000 sqft devoted to welding and assembly, CMF can manage your welding requirements. Our welders are certified to AWS D1.1, D14.1, and MIL-STD-248. We offer processes from TIG through Submerged Arc, in addition to robotic and automated seam and circumferential welding.
Press Brake Forming:
Long, High tonnage brake forming is a specialty of CMF. With brakes, which range up to 30 feet in length and 1000 tons of forming pressure, CMF is uniquely equipped to handle your challenging forming requirements. Our newest addition of a 5 axis CNC 700 ton x 20 ft brake allows us to productively handle you difficult multibend components.
6000 Watt Laster Cutting:
CMF’s 6000 watt linear motor drive laser is one of the most powerful in the world. It can handle up to 1-1/4” carbon steel & 1” stainless and with the linear motor drive system can cut fast and accurate down to 18-gage material. The bed size can handle large plates up to 120” x 480” long. The laser is an extremely versatile machine that can eliminate numerous secondary operations.
CNC Punching:
CMF has punching capabilities up to 200 tons with CNC punching capacity to 55 tons. Additionally, CMF’s long press brakes can also serve as punching foundations for long gang punch applications to 30 ft.
Machining:
CMF offers a solid base of machining options for weldments and components. With equipment from Horizontal Bars to VTL’s, CMF can provide one-stop services for your component fabrications.
Plate Rolling:
CMF utilizes three plate rolls with the largest roll being a CNC ½” x 13 foot roll with a 4 roll initial pinch configuration. The CNC capability of the roll allows a variety of parts to be fabricated. In addition to rolled segments and cylinders, multi-radius components can be rolled on this machine.
