Chicago Metal Fabricators provides welding and assembly services ranging from prototype to large scale production volumes. Our processes include TIG, automated submerged arc, robotic, and more, with the ability to weld a variety of materials such as carbon steel, stainless steel, T1, and Domex. Our welders are certified to AWS D1.1, D14.1, and MIL-STD-248. Three large welding bays, totaling over 100,000 sq. ft, enable us to handle large weldments or assemblies. CNC, free hand, and robotic welding operations are available and our facility features a 35 ft robot servo tract, 10 ft robot reach, and 40 ft subarc welding system. We can achieve seam welding diameters of 2-24 in. and have a lifting capacity of 25 tons. Typical lead times are approximately 2 to 3 weeks but rush service is available.
